Loopstone Island

Loopstone Island is a mystery-exploration game with branching narratives and a cutesy art style that covers up its dark psychological themes. 

Your journey across the sea has temporarily landed you on Loopstone Island, a peaceful paradise populated by cute, talking, bipedal animals. After discovering a strange machine you find yourself stuck in a one day time loop. To exit the time loop you need to fill the machine’s empty slots with loopstones, and the only way to find loopstones is by exploring the island and interacting with the islanders. Along the way you discover that Loopstone Island might not be quite the peaceful paradise you originally thought it was.

Notes to keep in mind when playing

• We are developing this game as our bachelor (one semester of work), meaning this is not a full game, but more of a work in progress.
• If you play our game, please fill out this form to help us improve it! All questions are optional and it's quite short, any feedback is appreciated! 
•  Even if we don't fix all issues we can be aware of them and reflect on them in our report :)
• The game should auto-save when you collect a loopstone/machine, so if you get stuck you could try to restart the game~
• If you experience poor performance or screen tear, you can press "m" to access a settings menu to toggle v-sync, change resolution and graphics with your mouse (ignore the buttons displaying weirdly).
